About the Early Childhood Education Council of NSW
The Early Childhood Education Council of New South Wales is a Council for all concerned with the education of young children. All refers to teachers, school executives, parents, community members and adult educators. We welcome among our members all those who have an interest, as well as those whose work involves them in the education of children under 9 years of age.
Membership of Department of School Education and Board of Studies Consultative Committees, including Syllabus Committees provides opportunities to ensure the needs of young children and their teachers are addressed.
We are committed to:
- Providing professional support for each other.
- Providing a forum for the sharing and dissemination of information which could be of interest to our members.
- Providing professional development activities for those responsible for the education of young children.
- Providing a forum for discussion and where appropriate, action on matters of professional concern to our members.
